FAQs
No. OnCampus does not replace contracts, deposits, agents, or final booking procedures. It helps schools discover talent faster, compare options more easily, and start the right conversations sooner. It is a smarter discovery and connection tool for the early stages of campus entertainment booking.
It also allows schools to find new artists they may never have worked with before. Not all artists attend the same conferences, and not all schools work with the same agents. Therefore, if an artist doesn't attend the conference you're school goes to, or if you don't use a specific agent, you could be missing out on great new talent for your students. OnCampus helps bridge that gap.
No. OnCampus was set up in a very specific way to include agents in every step of the process. Every artist is required to include their agent's information in their profile.
The moment a school starts a conversation with the artist - the artist's agent gets an email alert letting them know! Then if the school submits a booking request and a date hold on the app, the agent receives that form - keeping them involved every step of the way.
OnCampus can only exist from a unbiased source. If a conference has a booking app, they're only going to show you artists that attend their conferences or from agents who pay to be part of their conference. If an agency creates a booking app, they're only going to serve you artists they represent - as they have a vested interest in getting those acts booked.
OnCampus is different. We want to offer you every single artist regardless of time in the market, who their agent is, or what conferences they attend. We show you everyone, and you get to decide what you like and what would be a fit on your campus.
It just makes sense to put the power in your hands as the booker, instead of forcing you to choose between acts a selection committee determined you would like.
